Reports say that the game has been indefinitely delayed, but there might be good news

Despite many gamers waiting for the release of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, we've been only getting bad news for some time now.

A few weeks ago, the mage was 'delayed indefinitely,' according to Bloomberg, leaving fans wondering when will the game might see the light.

The report says that Embracer Group has internally settled all plans for the remainder of this year without the release of Knights of the Old Republic.

According to Jason Schreier (a journalist and author who primarily covers the video game industry), Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic will not be released in 2022.

However, Embracer published its Q1 interim report, and they confirmed that ''One of the Group’s AAA projects has transitioned to another studio within the Group. This was done to ensure the quality bar is where we need it to be for the title. We are not expecting any material delays for the title based on this transition.''

The statement contradicts the previous reports about the game not arriving this year. While they don't mention specifically Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, there is a chance that this is the game they are talking about.

Do you think the game still has a chance of coming out this year? Let us know in the comments!
