What would the video game industry be without rumors and insiders? Of course, some are more reliable than others. Because of that, we must be selective to determine which ones could end up being true, and the ones we shouldn't even pay attention to.
Speaking of Fortnite's rumors, a leaker with a very good record is Twitter user @MidaRado. The world has not yet recovered from the arrival of Goku and the entire Dragon Ball universe to the battle royale, and today Mida stirred the pot among his followers, leaving them to speculate about which IP will be the next collaboration to appear in the game, which he mentions will arrive next week.

As you can see, the insider offers us three options: DOOM, The Lord of the Rings, and Family Guy. Let's quickly analyze each of these cases.
Bethesda's series seems to be the most obvious. Just remember the collaboration with Fall Guys, owned by Epic Games just like Fortnite, which resulted in an adorable Doom Slayer skin being added to the game. Likewise, DOOM 64 is currently available for free on the Epic Games Store. Finally, we are in the middle of QuakeCon weekend, Bethesda's most iconic event. The scenario seems to be ideal, right?
Now let's move on to The Lord of the Rings. J. R. R. Tolkien's creation has already occupied the spotlight of international media after it was announced the IP rights have changed owners. As some people have noted, there is currently a clear reference to this franchise within Fortnite. Take a look yourself:

Finally, it's time to talk about Family Guy. Sorry for the fans of the animated series, but we have nothing to say in this case, beyond the fact that with Fortnite we must expect the unexpected.
At the end of the day, no matter how reliable the aforementioned source is, this is nothing more than a rumor. Of course, that does not prevent us from giving ourselves the pleasure of speculating a bit.
