A few weeks ago, we talked about the incredible trailer that Netflix announced for the long-awaited anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, a new animated series based on the Cyberpunk 2077 universe.
That's right, after the failure that the title obtained at its launch, the creators decided to make an anime based on its history in order to take advantage of everything worked on in their project. Previously, we could look at the characters and a few of their abilities in the trailer shown.

The only official thing we knew about the premiere date of the series is that it would be in September of this year, so fans were eager to know the exact date and thus prepare for the arrival of this anime on Netflix.

It’s not a novelty that sometimes some official sites leak essential information about projects. This was the case of the anticipated anime, as Netflix accidentally exposed the production released date; instead of placing the usual “coming soon,” they made the mistake of writing “September 13” announcing the official launch.

That would mean we are just under a month away from learning more about this incredible production.
In case you want to know a little more about the story, the official site gives more information about the premise of Cyberpunk Edgerunners: in a dystopia plagued by corruption and cybernetic implants, a talented but reckless street kid strives to become a the edgerunner: a mercenary outlaw.
