Toys for Bob studio (Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Skylanders) is teasing a new game

The company does not want to be limited to Warzone support and it seems to be working on somethig new

Insiders claimed to have heard about a new game at the Toys for Bob offices back in June. Wumpa League, a multiplayer battle game set in the Crash Bandicoot universe, was set to be announced during the summer trade shows, according to Jez Corden.

If the information has not been confirmed (nor denied), the studio belonging to Activision has apparently just teased a new title via a Twitter mini-game.

Best known for Pandemonium with Crystal Dynamics, Toys for Bob was acquired by Activision in 2005 to handle the Tony Hawk license with Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam.

They later launched their own Skylanders license. Also, Spyro Reignited Trilogy was released in 2019, and Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time came out in 2020.

Activision's studios were located to the company's sole successful license, Call of Duty, in 2021. As a result, Toys for Bob was a new Warzone support studio.

Following protests from former team members, Activision stated that the team would continue to work on its other licenses.

Since then, Microsoft purchased Activision-Blizzard, which probably has different plans and ambitions for this historic studio. Perhaps Wumpa League or Spyro 4?

Which title would you like the company to announce? Let us know in the comments!
