We have great news about the world's biggest anime award show for all you anime fans out there—the Crunchyroll Anime Awards is coming big.
Crunchyroll plans to create something special for the seventh edition of these awards. This time they will officially bring their celebration to Japan. The live ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa and will also be streamed across many of Crunchyroll's social media channels.
On this occasion, the Anime Awards will bring together studios, creators, musicians, voice actors, and more. The president of Crunchyroll himself decided to share a few words for the long-awaited event:
“There is no better place to celebrate the Anime Awards than in the birthplace of anime. Anime is a rich narrative medium that captures the hearts and minds of fans around the world. We can't wait to show how much love the global anime fanbase has for the studios, creators, and our trusted partners behind anime."
In this event, they celebrate the culture of anime, awarding creations for different categories, such as best animation, best opening, best director, the best protagonist, and anime of the year, among others.
This year's award ceremony took place on February 9, so the list of winners in all categories can already be found on the official Crunchyroll page. If you like, you can review it by clicking this link.
In case you want to know more about the nominations for the next edition, we tell you that the nominees and the voting will open early next year, and more information will be shared on the official Crunchyroll sites.
