Evil West delayed until November

Is this delay season?

The number of games delayed this year has reached incredible numbers, and well… add another one to the list as Flying Wild Hog and Focus Entertainment have announced that the upcoming cowboy shooter Evil West has been delayed to November 22 this year.

With an original release date of September 20, the developers of Evil West have pushed the date aiming to "ensure the game reaches its full potential.”

Through a Twitter post, Focus Entertainment announced the delay, making special emphasis on how the decision to release the title on five different platforms at the same time may be one of the strongest reasons for the delay.

Maybe they should choose another date?

Some players pointed out how close the new release date is to the God of War Ragnarok and Warzone 2.0 releases and have suggested pushing the game again in order to gain a better opportunity for exposure. On the other hand, many others have said that even though it will compete with two big titles at the moment of release, they should not make any kind of assumptions.

Clearly, competing with big franchises is always a challenge, however, with an extremely loyal following this change should not be a threat to the success of this game.

If you are not familiar with the title, the upcoming action-adventure video game put you in the old wild west, taking control of Jesse Rentier, one of the last vampire hunters in the world, equipped with crazy-powerful weapons, you will try by any means to protect the American frontier from supernatural monstrosities from vampires to leechers.

Remember, Evil West is set to release on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC by November 22, mark your calendars!
