Game Pass: Hades and these other games leave the service at the end of the month

Along with What Remains of Edith Finch, World War Z and nine other titles

Xbox revealed the second wave of August Game Pass titles, but what the service is removing is a bit more noteworthy. Three indie heavyweights, including the award-winning Hades, are leaving Game Pass.

Indeed, the departure games are numerous and, for the most part, of high quality, so the end of August will be difficult for some Game Pass subscribers that enjoy these titles.

However, it's not all bad news, as they also revealed what will be hitting the subscription service soon, including some solid titles that players can enjoy.

Which games are leaving Game Pass by the end of the month?

With the arrival of eight new games, we will also see the departure of ten titles, including some well-known indies that players love.

  • Elite Dangerous
  • Hades
  • Myst
  • NBA 2K22
  • Signs of the Sojourner
  • Spiritfarer
  • Twelve Minutes
  • Two Point Hospital
  • What Remains of Edith Finch
  • World War Z

All of these games will leave Game Pass on August 31. Remember that you can keep them in your library by purchasing them at a 20% discount before they get removed from the service.

We recommend that you take advantage of the next two weeks to play Hades, one of the best roguelites out there. And also What Remains of Edith Finch, a fantastic short but gripping adventure.

World War Z is an amazing game to enjoy with a group of friends or by yourself. It offers a creepy environment that will keep you at the edge of your sit with its great atmosphere and challenging gameplay.

Do you currently play any of these titles? Let us know in the comments!
