YouTube will launch streaming service store like Prime Video

This according to a report

We all know that if we are talking about the most popular video streaming platform in the world, we are talking about YouTube. YouTube has managed to stay at the stop mainly due to its innovation. If you notice, from time to time, YouTube has updates that match the platform's trendings. That's why Google wants to take full advantage of this to expand its offering and make more money.

The Wall Street Journal has reported that within YouTube, they are planning to launch a channel store. The idea is to do something similar to what Amazon Prime Video currently offers: a service within its application that allows you to subscribe to other streaming services and access the content.

To clarify this, if it becomes a reality, YouTube users could subscribe to third-party streaming services from the different versions of YouTube on all platforms to enjoy it on various devices.

This is becoming a reality, as YouTube has taken it seriously and has been working on the project for 18 months. The challenge for them will be negotiating with other streaming services to offer their services through YouTube.

Here, the profit for YouTube would be to keep a percentage of each subscription achieved through its service, so it needs to convince third parties that reaching YouTube will help increase its user base considerably.
