In the world of YouTube, we have the kings of subscribers. That's right, those creators who have remained in the top for years with millions of followers make them the kings of YouTube.

It is not new that PewDiePie has remained the world's largest YouTuber, currently having 111 million subscribers on his channel. However, it seems that his reign will not last much longer.

All this because the famous creator Jimmy "MrBeast Donaldson," one of the most famous youtubers of the moment, celebrated big with a special video celebrating more than 100 million subscribers on YouTube.

Fans immediately began comparing the two creators and the chances of MrBeast overtaking PiewDiePie to become the new king of YouTube.

To everyone's surprise, PewDiePie himself spoke on this subject, mentioning that he believes this will happen sooner or later for various reasons.

THIS IS THE REASON FOR PIEWDIEPIE

During a recent video, the creator was questioned by some of his followers about MrBeast's achievements and how close he is to reaching his subscribers. So PiewDiePie explained that his platform partner fully deserves it for everything he has achieved over the years.

He also mentioned that he wouldn't be surprised when he tops his record for followers. On the other hand, he also explained that YouTube is no longer his top priority for now.

In case you didn't know, the youtuber took a big break for months and was absent from the platform, so he thinks this makes it easier for MrBeast to get over him.

“Come on; I've been retired for like 2 years. I can't wait for it to happen […] it's alright, he definitely deserves it. I hope he does. [YouTube] is a lower priority,” PewDiePie explained.

MrBeast has been growing steadily in the past few months. PewDiePie is still generating the content, but at a much slower pace as he is focused on his family for now. So it's likely that in a few months MrBeast will take his crown.
