FIFA 23's Ultimate Team gets new features presented in a new trailer!

The game's most popular mode will have chemistry changes and new ways to play

EA has released a video highlighting several new features in FIFA 23's Ultimate Team mode. The chemistry system will be significantly changed in FUT and will include a new game mode; the material also explains how crossplay will work in the game.

The first new feature introduced is FUT Moments, a new section of Ultimate Team where players will be able to fulfill quick challenges to earn rewards.

Moments will be single-player, without the need to play a full match. There will be challenges based on real-life games, but also others with creative freedom, such as scoring goals with your goalkeeper and the like. Completing Moments will give you stars that you can trade for card packs.

The chemistry system has changed

The chemistry between players will change in FIFA 23: lines indicating the rapport between nearby players will be removed. The chemistry in the new version of the game will take into account the entire field; for example, the goalkeeper may have a good rapport with a striker, and this will be considered in the final chemistry score.

The scoring system will also be altered, with each player receiving a score ranging from 1 to 3 in chemistry, for a total of 33 possible points per team.

The video also discusses how crossplay will work in FUT: players from the same generation of PlayStation and Xbox will be able to compete and play friendly matches in 1v1 modes.

As a result, the transfer market will be more unified, with more content but also more users competing for the best cards.

Finally, EA demonstrates some of the new stadium customization options and confirms that FUT will include content based on the 2022 World-Cup, but does not yet reveal what the new features will be. FIFA 23 arrives on September 30 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
