Wrestling fans you don’t need to wait for long, AEW Fight Forever release date is around the corner, as announced by THQ Nordic.
Apparently, they are planning to hold a premier digital showcase event on August 12 that will include brand new gameplay and right after “officially revelling it”, the game automatically will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
According to Kenny Omega VP of AEW and former AEW World Champion and AEW World Tag Team Champion:
“Well, we just landed the perfect finisher by partnering with global publishing and distribution powerhouse THQ Nordic for AEW: Fight Forever. The THQ brand has long been synonymous with wrestling games – there is simply no more qualified partner to bring AEW: Fight Forever to the millions of wrestling fans the world over.”
What can we expect?
The game’s website also has been updated with the first details of the game’s career mode, and as we are used to, besides enjoying the All Elite Wrestler’s life on the road you can create your very own wrestler and work your path to the top.
Actually, we have a big number of match types: single, Tag-Team, 3-way, 4-way, Ladder, Casino Battle Royale, Falls Count Anywhere, Unsanctioned Lights-Out and Exploding Barbed Wire Death.
On the other hand, we will be able to play online! With an online co-op mode taking wrestling to a completely different level with Tag-Team matches that feature sequences of team manoeuvres performed with simple commands.
We are not surprised with all the options offered as this title is being developed by acclaimed wrestling game developer Yuke’s, making AEW Fight Forever the first video game officially licensed by All Elite Wrestling.
Remember, look forward to August 12!
