Bethesda has announced the details about this year's QuakeCon 2022. Unfortunately, this year's edition will be digital again, and they are not happy with that either. They explained that to hold an event of QuakeCon size requires months of planning, so in this case, they have decided to take it in digital mode due to this same problem.
However, to cheer up the fans, they have worked hard on an exciting streaming program, including meetups, giveaways, charity opportunities, the virtual BYOC, and much more.
WHEN IS QUAKECON GOING TO BE?
The event will take place from August 18 to 20 on the official Bethesda account on Twitch, which you can click here to redirect yourself, leave a follow and thus be aware of the date.
Those responsible for the event have made life easier for us with an image that shows the event's itinerary for August 18, in which, as you can see in the following image, the event will start at 1:00 pm ET and will end at 11:30 p.m. ET. So it will be a long day full of adventure and dynamics for the entire community.
Here is the schedule:
Also, as part of its tradition, there will be the respective Quake and Quake Pro League tournaments, which will close with the 2022 world championships that will be held from August 18 to 20 and broadcast from the PGL studio in Bucharest, Romania.
There will be 13 players from the Quake Pro League, along with 11 finalists who will face each other in a double-elimination group of 24 people to win the Quake World Championship belt.
Not only that, those who follow this Bethesda event will be able to donate to support the American Civil Liberties Union charity.
