Several prefetch files corresponding to music tracks from classic Mario Kart games were added to the game yesterday, according to the YouTube user recordreader. The alleged themes were uploaded to the platform by BL (via VGC).
Insiders discover which consoles the upcoming Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC tracks will come from, and if the theory is correct, there will be: 6 all-new tracks; 10 from Tour, and 4 from GameCube, but none from Nintendo 64.

According to the prefetch files, these are the tracks that will come to the game next:

- Rock Rock Mountain (3DS)
- Berlin Byways (Mario Kart Tour)
- Waluigi Stadium/ Wario Colosseum (Game Cube)
- Merry Mountain (Mario Kart Tour)
- Rainbow Road (3DS)
- Amsterdam Drift (Mario Kart Tour)
- Singapore Speedway Mario Kart Tour)
- Los Angeles Laps (Mario Kart Tour)
- Sunset Wilds (GBA)

On July 28, Nintendo revealed via their Twitter account the second set of tracks from the Booster Course Pack was coming to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe yesterday.
The company announced this DLC in February, and they promised to release 48 courses by the end of 2023 across six waves. The first one included eight tracks and came out on March 18, 2022.
The second set features the Turnip Cup, which includes the tracks: New York Minute (Mario Kart Tour), Mario Circuit 3 (SNES), Kalimari Desert (N64), and Waluigi Pinball (DS),
