Diablo Immortal is expected to receive content every 2 weeks

Or at least that are Blizzard plans

Server maintenance for Diablo Immortal begins tomorrow from 1:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m PT for servers in the Americas and Europe. However, besides giving details on the upcoming content Blizzard decided to clear up everything regarding updates.

Seemingly Blizzard plans to release new content for Diablo Immortal every two weeks in the form of either a Mini or Major update.

Ok, what is this exactly?

In detail, Mini updates usually will bring content such as Battler Pass seasons, in-game events, and feature updates; while Major updates will come with new gameplay features, free storyline expansions and in-game events.

You may be wondering how these types of updates will be released and it’s easy! All of the things mentioned before are not exclusive to a Mini or Major content update and may sometimes just be released once it has reached a state of quality worthy of the players.

No worries, as bug fixes and quality of life updates, will keep being implemented and continue to be communicated on Blizzard blogs.

As you may know, Diablo Immortal's Season 3 update and new Battle Pass, Aspect of Justice, will be released on August 4, remember, the free version of Season 3’s Battle Pass will include 40 ranks worth of challenges and rewards including Legendary Gems, Crests and Hilts.

If you feel like spending, the two paid versions of the Season 3 Battle Pass players can upgrade to the Empowered Battle Pass and Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass, filled with rank rewards and cosmetics immediately available.
