Devs keep working on multiple tweaks for the game

Still in its open beta, Multiversus continues to be one of the most played games of the moment. Being accessible to many players and genuinely fun, why it will be different?

Of course, the game still requires various adjustments, which the developers are working on. Being a fighting game, several of the necessary improvements fall on the balance of the characters trying that no one is too powerful or too weak.

Looking for a more balanced game

Recently, director Tony Huynh informed via Twitter the studio will improve Wonder Woman's abilities. Likewise, a few days ago commented the studio also plans to nerf Bugs Bunny.

Regarding the date these changes will be implemented, he mentioned that the update will be available after EVO 2022, which is taking place from August 5-7.

Here is an overview of the game, via Warner Bros.:

"In MultiVersus, the Multiverse is at your fingertips as you battle it out in intense 2v2 matches. Up against Batman & Shaggy? Try using Bugs Bunny & Arya Stark! This platform fighter lets you play out your fantasy matchups in a fun co-op or head-to-head fight for supremacy."

Last Friday, the game received a patch that includes changes to some Batman and Steven Universe attacks, showing awareness of the main complaints from the community and willingness to polish the game as much as possible.

Warner Bros. launched the MultiVersus open beta this past July 26. It is available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC with cross-play support.

At the moment, the launch date of the final version is unknown. Warner Bros. and Player First Games said the beta will “continue to get updated with new characters, maps, seasonal content, and more in the months ahead”, which could suggest the final version will arrive simply as an update on the current software.
