Annapurna Interactive’s showcase gave us many interesting announcements, among them the surprise release of a marvellous PlayStation exclusive on Steam.
We are talking about Hohokum, a title originally distributed by Sony in 2014 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. If you are not familiar with it, in this adventure; players take on the role of a curious, comet-like flying creature that travels through different worlds.
What should we expect?
Developed by UK studio Honeyslug, and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, in Hohokum we ended up in a colorful odyssey, where a flying kite-like creature can interact with characters and environments to discover secrets, or just wander around and see what happens. The title has objectives and activities, but they are entirely optional.
You will have access to 17 words that behave in different ways when you land on them, so you have plenty of time to wander about and get lost in them.
According to the game’s Steam page, Hohokum will feature the original soundtrack from the 2014 release, created in collaboration with Ghostly International Records.
Back in the day, the game was heavily criticized as did not appear to "have a point” and the objectives were too vague, however, it was appreciated for its art and music, which provides a relaxing space to just kill some time.
Hohokum is now available on Steam $9.99, you can download it here.
