Forced to be revealed? Vantage, the new Apex Legends character, confirmed!

Along with Season 14 details and release date

A new season is coming to Apex Legends, and that means a new character is also on its way. Mara 'Vantage' Contreras, whose past we get to know in a new trailer titled Story of the Wild Lands.

Although her presence had already leaked on Reddit earlier this year, Respawn has finally seen fit to introduce us to the new heroine of Apex Legends in an extensive trailer of almost five minutes.

Mara grew up in the frozen mountains of the planet Pagos with her mother, hunting to survive. When she finds the remains of the GDS Vantage ship, she becomes curious and discovers an uncomfortable truth that will force her to become part of the Apex games.

You can learn more about Mara in the following video:

When is the Vantage coming to Apex Legends?

Over the last weekend, developer Respawn seemed to upload a Vantage video early by accident. Starting the game on July 23, several users received an in-game message that included an image that showed Vantage, the new Apex legend.

However, some players did not even get a chance to open the message, and for others, as soon as they opened it, it disappeared.

The new character, Mara Contreras, whose in-game name will be 'Vantage,' will join Apex Legends as part of the 'Hunted' update, which will release on Tuesday, August 9, 2022. We will know more details when its official trailer gets revealed next Thursday, July 28.

In this title, available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC, you will choose between a cast of outlaws, soldiers, rebels, and misanthropes, each with unique abilities. The Apex Games are open to everyone. If you survive long enough, you'll find yourself a legend.
