Hideki Kamiya says Nintendo didn't ask him to censor Bayonetta 3

He also reveals more details about what it has been like to work with Nintendo

Nintendo is a video game company often characterized by the management of the content of its games and characters. It is well known that Nintendo has a large children's audience for the same reason, every aspect of the content they offer must be well taken care of.

But in this case, Hideki Kamiya, a renowned video game designer, has spoken about the new installment of the Bayonetta saga since he comments that he is happy with Nintendo for the great creative freedom that it has given him regarding its development and that at no time they they have interfered or have tried to diminish the intensity that so characterizes his work.

The doubts that Kamiya's statements have caused have to do with the recent news that Bayonetta 3 will have a censorship mode. So he comments that the promotion of this new censorship mode comes directly from Platinum Games in its entirety "I've seen a lot of people name Nintendo when they talk about Bayonetta's nudity, but during our time with the port of Bayonetta, Bayonetta 2, and Bayonetta 3, the only suggestion we received was about Link's costume in Bayonetta 2 and Bayonetta 3, and how it should have been a bit more revealing." This is through the Nintendo Everything blog.

Kamiya also commented that no prejudice has influenced this aspect of the game and that Nintendo is not a company with bureaucratic limits and appreciates Nintendo's support for the Bayonetta saga.

Well, now you know, fans will be able to enjoy the title without worrying about it.
