The Lord of the Rings: Gollum's game is delayed and left without a date

The title based on the work of J. R. R. Tolkien was scheduled for September

This same month we received new news about the game expected by fans of The Lord of the Rings, called The Lord of the Rings: Gollum. This Daedalic Entertainment title was scheduled for September 1st of this year. Recently, we heard new details about the game, such as its gameplay, were revealed thanks to a trailer released by those responsible.

Unfortunately, we bring bad news for those eagerly awaiting this title, as the studio has just announced that the game was delayed and will take longer than expected to debut. This is because the developers will use that additional time to improve the game's overall experience. However, one bad news is that we do not have a new release date.

THE LORD OF THE RINGS: GOLLUM WILL TAKE SEVERAL MONTHS TO DEBUT

It is not the first time that developers of a video game delayed the premiere for wanting to improve the gameplay experience, and this time the same thing happened, as announced by Daedalic Entertainment on its official social media.

Without having an exact release date, the developers commented that it would be a few months of waiting, so it could perhaps be released in early 2023.

Here is the statement:

There will be nothing left but to wait for news from those responsible for setting a new release date for the game, and as you surely know, here at LEVEL UP, we will be ready to inform you as soon as it happens.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is developing for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
