Ken Moss, Chief technology officer leaves Electronic Arts

Eight years of extraordinary technical transformation came to an end

According to VGC, Andrew Wilson, CEO of Electronic Arts shared with employees the depart of Ken Moss as Chief technology officer after almost a decade of hard work.

Moss gave eight extremely valuable years to the company leading the technical advancements of major titles like FIFA and Madden. Actually, these advances not only benefited said games but they were also used on several titles at Electronic Arts.

In Wilson’s own words “The technical transformation that we’ve undergone during Ken’s tenure has been extraordinary — navigating tremendous digital expansion, growing to new platforms, delivering tools for our game teams to serve more players, and enabling a large and growing global organization.”

To keep growing you need to move on…

Seems like Moss leaving EA, was mainly to pursue new challenges outside of the FIFA and Madden publisher. Nonetheless, the company already has announced that senior VP development technology and solutions, Marija Radulovic-Nastic, and chief information security officer, Matt Thomlinson, will take on new roles when Moss leaves the company.

Marija Radulovic-Nastic will be designated as Chief Technology Officer, Creative & Development, leading tech teams building creative tools and solutions for game makers and players and Thomlinson will be Chief Technology Officer, Enterprise, leading the foundational tech and infrastructure teams powering player experiences and live services, operations, and areas of future technical innovation.

While we wish Moss the best of luck in his future endeavours, we are excited to see what will the future brings to this division at EA.
