FIFA 23 makes history with the reveal of its Ultimate Edition cover

We know little about the FIFA 23 video game, but the reveal of one of its covers has made history.

Through social media, Electronic Arts shared the first look at one of the covers of FIFA 23; this cover will be for the Ultimate Edition version, which will surely be the most expensive of all the editions of the soccer game.

As you can imagine, FIFA 23 is making history in the franchise. This is the first time a women’s soccer star will be on the global cover of FIFA. Previously, United States Women's National Team legend Alex Morgan graced the cover of FIFA 16, but only on US soil. In that same installment, Christine Sinclar appeared on the Canadian cover, while Steph Catley was the cover star for Australia.

It should be mentioned that Sam Kerr's appearance on this cover is shaping up to be more than just a curiosity. We say this because Electronic Arts are rumored to have plans to deliver a much more robust women's soccer experience in FIFA 23. So perhaps this is the first sign that this will indeed happen.

FIFA 23 WILL BE REVEALED VERY SOON

Electronic Arts also revealed that it would be on July 20 at 9:00 AM PST when it makes the official reveal of FIFA 23. The reveal will be in the following video that is about to be released.
