The Nintendo eShop has revealed the file size of Bayonetta 3 on its website. The new adventure of the Umbra Witch will occupy 15 GB in the internal storage or on the microSD card of the hybrid console. It's the same size as Xenoblade Chronicles 3, a massive open-world RPG, and far larger than the Bayonetta (8.6GB) and Bayonetta 2 (12.4GB) versions for this console.
For comparison, here are the game file sizes of some other Nintendo Switch titles:
- The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: 14,4 GB
- Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition: 13,7 GB
- Xenoblade Chronicles 2: 13,2 GB
- NieR: Automata The End of YoRHa Edition: 10,9 GB
The release date is set for October 28
Nintendo and the developer PlatinumGames announced last week by surprise the release date of Bayonetta 3: it will hit stores on October 28, accompanied by a collector's edition. The new trailer offered a lot of information, such as the existence of different Bayonettas, the appearance of a playable character named Viola, and the possibility of controlling demons or transforming into one.
There will also be a physical collector's edition for Bayonetta 3, known as the "Trinity Masquerade Edition," which will include a special sleeve artwork for the Switch boxes of the three Bayonetta games along with a special 200-page artbook.
