Anime Expo gave the fans tons and tons of new details for their favourite shows and possible new favourites. This time Trigger Inc. the studio in charge of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners revealed the opening animation for the upcoming show.
Bold and colourful
The opening which is now available online and we will leave below is accompanied by “This Fffire” a song performed by Scottish rock band Franz Ferdinand and originally released back in 2004.
When we say bold, we just don't refer to the whole art style choice, as the bold typography ends up having a very unusual protagonism on the various compositions during the opening.
We are not precisely surprised as Trigger Inc. has always delivered very interesting results in their projects which clearly shows as the fans flooded the comment section with compliments.
Actually many had expressed their excitement for the upcoming series. Of course, we get to see a couple of opinions comparing the game with the anime, however as this had nothing to do with it, said opinions end up overshadowed by the thrilled fans’ ones.
