Overwatch 2: D.Va's butt is bigger and fans are going crazy

The South Korean heroine of the Blizzard video game has already given something to talk about

One of the video games that has caused the most talk in recent months is Overwatch 2, either because of the announcements of the company responsible for the game, the Closed Beta that came out again recently or because of the community's opinions towards the characters. As in this case, D.va's butt has given a lot to talk about.

As we already know, the launch of the sequel to Overwatch will be on October 4, and it is clear that many details about the game have come out, including the notorious aesthetic changes on some characters.

D.VA'S BUTT CAUSES A STIR IN THE OVERWATCH 2 COMMUNITY

In case you didn't know, every character in the franchise received a redesign in the second installment. D.Va was no exception and now has a suit of darker shades and a different hairstyle. However, players noted that her butt is, for some reason, bigger.

The curious change was brought up thanks to the user Pixidemi, who compared the original 3D model of the female character with that of the sequel in a post on Twitter. The image, as expected, already gave something to talk about and quickly went viral because at the time of writing these lines, it already has more than 45,600 likes and almost 1000 comments.

In the comments section, we can see that players are happy about the "buff" that D.Va received in Overwatch 2, while another sector of the community says that they will try the game because of the change. And clearly, the bawdy jokes were not going to be missing.

Blizzard removed a victory pose for Tracer in 2016 for being inappropriate and not correctly representing the character's personality. So, it is curious that the company modified the D.Va model in the sequel. We'll wait to find out if he doesn't go back on his plans and revert the changes in the final version.

But tell us, what do you think of this situation? Let us read you in the comments.

Overwatch 2 is coming to PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on October 4.
