Beyond Good & Evil 2 has been a topic a lot of people like to talk about, whether because of its inactiveness that makes it seem in the verge of cancellation, or it remains as one of the most ambitious titles on development.
Nonetheless, Axios reporter Stephen Totilo reported that Ubisoft released a statement where they confirm that the title is still, in fact, in active development.
For those wondering, Ubisoft mentioned Beyond Good & Evil 2 today during the Q&A of its annual meeting (no surprises, all resolutions passed). The company included it in a list of announced projects that are in active development. It's still alive https://t.co/fWjYNDh1PK

Despite the fact that Beyond Good and Evil 2 was announced back at the 2017 E3 Ubisoft conference, the French company only followed it up by reporting that it is still in early development phases.
Fans of the title have been waiting for over five years for good news about the game, and it seems like the development could be more than halfway done since the latest report says that we can expect the game's release by 2024 or 2025.
Even when it still feels like a long way to go, these are definitely good news for the fans of the title that thought that Beyond Good & Evil 2 was a dead project.
The following trailer was premiered back in 2017 and it still looks amazing to this date.
According to the official Ubisoft website, the game will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, although we can probably expect it to release for new gen consoles.
