This is not the first time private video game info has surfaced online. Sadly this is also one of those moments when the content was immediately taken down. On the plus side, new concept art for the upcoming Call of Duty Black Ops 5 has appeared through a Twitter account that is now suspended. User “RealiityUk” allegedly datamined the images from a Call of Duty Warzone mobile test. The content was found on his account, though it’s no longer available.
The leaked concept art included several maps from Treyarch‘s upcoming Call of Duty franchise entry. According to Video Game Chronicles, the images suggested that the next installment could occur during the Gulf War due to the inclusion of an F117 aircraft, which was popularized during the conflict. Alongside the concept art, several map images from Modern Warfare 2, which will arrive on October 28, were also revealed.
So far, we know that Activision officially confirmed a new free-to-play Warzone experience built alongside Modern Warfare 2, led by developer Infinity Ward. But the leaked (and now erased) images suggest a lot more coming from this franchise.
