Earlier today, has been announced that the publisher in charge of Marvel Puzzle Quest is now part of 505 Games, through its parent company, Digital Bros. So, from now on, D3 Go! (from D3 Publisher) will begin producing updates for the existing record of IPs.According to Gematsu, the acquisition grants 505 Games full ownership of the Puzzle Quest franchise, following the purchase of Puzzle Quest series developer Infinity Plus 2 in 2021. 505 Games free-to-play head, Clive Robert, declared in a press release:
“D3 Go! has done a brilliant job bringing some of the biggest Puzzle Quest titles to market, and it was a natural fit for us to welcome them into the 505 Games family, building on our library of owned IP. This acquisition marks the second for us in only two years as we continue our dedication to growing the free-to-play business unit and bringing to gamers the best there is to offer—from original games to powerhouse licenses and beyond.”
Terms of the deal per se were not shared with the public, but a representative for Digital Bros confirmed there would be no layoffs related to the acquisition.
