Even though the addition of mouse and keyboard support on Xbox Cloud Gaming was teased earlier this year, it seems like it's getting closer and may be available soon.
How do we know? During the Xbox Game Streaming held this Tuesday mainly directed to developers; Microsoft’s Xbox game streaming team encouraged game creators to start thinking more about mouse and keyboard support.
“Xbox has been supporting keyboard and mouse for a few years now, and we’re working on adding it to streaming for PC users,” said Morgan Brown, software engineer on Microsoft’s Xbox game streaming team (and also a speed runner) who hosted the event.
“You can start adding it to your game right now and your console keyboard and mouse users will appreciate it. It will light up in streaming once we’ve finished adding it.”
That is not all, Xbox Cloud Gaming team also plans to reduce latency and assist developers in optimizing their game’s resolution and graphics for streaming.
Sadly, there are no date details available yet, however, the emphasis on starting to add this feature as developers may suggest that will arrive soon.
