Minecraft is one of those games that has had all kinds of collaborations, which is possibly why the IP never gets old. And now that we are all excited about the new Lightyear movie, the popular game couldn’t help but integrate the story in its way. The new Lightyear DLC for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition is here! Inspired by the Disney and Pixar movie of the same name, this galactic adventure is already waiting for you on Minecraft Marketplace.
In this new Lightyear DLC, you will relive Buzz’s origin story across unknown lands after his unfortunate incident with his ship. It is essential to mention that this content is not currently available for purchase on the Nintendo Switch system, but it will be available soon.
Here is an overview of the new Lightyear DLC:
You can play through five missions as this Academy-trained hero, including a hostile jungle, a swamp, a mine, and various alien settlements. Throughout each mission, you must navigate the terrain while fighting enemies and several bosses using various gadgets. Between missions, you get to fly different aircraft and must avoid obstacles to safely get to your next objective. Even though “safely” is a very relative term on an inhospitable alien planet.
