This new update states that the company has always disciplined abusive employees

A new chapter of the Activision Blizzard’s workplace issues has took another turn as the company released a document where they share the result of their internal investigations.

In said investigation, the Board and its external advisors have determined that there is no evidence to suggest that Activision Blizzard senior executives ever intentionally ignored or attempted to downplay the instances of gender harassment that occurred.

Apparently, the company firmly believe even though some substantial instances of gender harassment have occurred, they have appropriately disciplined and exited employees to ensure that their practices match their policies.

Are they doing something?

According to the statement they have implemented a series of comprehensive reforms and improvements across the company to show their commitment. How? Seems like they are expanding their Ethics & Compliance team, toughening their anti-harass policies and implementing several programs to ensure a safe working place.

Activision Blizzard admitted that as a big organization they always have room for improvement, so they are committing with their employees to stop inappropriate workplace conduct in a way that serves as a model for our industry.

We know that the company is trying to fix up the problem before the merge with Microsoft ends. Do you think that real improvements are taking place or are just damage control? We want to read your thoughts in the comments below.
