There were players who did not like what Blizzard Entertainment showed about the hero shooter

It's been weeks of a lot of news about the new title Overwatch 2 that will be released on October 4 of this year. Blizzard recently held an event focused solely on the latest game to unveil a bunch of new features that it will include, unlike the first.

One of the most significant changes they will make in the new title is that it will be free-to-play and will have a Battle Pass in which they will be updating the content periodically so that the game is always fresh and full of content.

THIS IS WHAT THE FANS SAID

Since the Closed Beta that was available this year, one of the most repeated comments from fans is that Overwatch 2 did not seem like a new game but rather an update of the first title.

Despite the news and modifications, they still consider that all the new content would have been better as a "DLC" for the original title to turn it into something similar to a "version 1.5."

And that's not all; some compared what will happen with Overwatch 2 with the annual releases of Call of Duty and even hinted that the new installments of the war fighting series have more arguments to be considered a completely new title each year.

Unfortunately, it seems that the fans will pressure the team in charge of the game to fulfill their expectations.

Overwatch 2 is developing for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
