Little by little, we have been receiving more and more news about what the Dragon Ball Super: SUPER HERO movie will be, and all the fans are more than excited to know more about what awaits us.
While the movie of the popular anime premiered recently, fans in the West were wondering when it would be their turn to enjoy it as well.
Fortunately, the uncertainty is over, and the wait won't be that long, as Crunchyroll has just confirmed that the film will be available in theaters in August.
On August 19, the film will be hitting theaters in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Zambia, and Vietnam.
Additionally, the film will arrive in more than 2,300 theaters in the United States alone and select U.S.-based IMAX theaters. Tickets for the US and Canada will go on sale on July 22.
Dragon Ball series creator Akira Toriyama is in charge of the film's original story, screenplay, and character design, with Tetsuro Kodama directing and Toei Animation handling animation production.
The film follows the Dragon Ball Super anime series, as well as the events of the blockbuster Dragon Ball Super: Broly feature film, which hit theaters in 2018. The film went on to gross over $115 million worldwide.
