The surprises keep coming at the Summer Game Fest with the announcement of Stormgate a brand new RTS from Frost Giant Studios. The studio is conformed by a good part of StarCraft 2 and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne developers so big things are expected.
Tim Morten, now director and CEO of Frost Giant Studios was present on stage and explained a little bit of the game’s plot.
Stormgate will be l be free-to-play, but it has been made very clear that it will not have pay-to-win or NFT elements. It was also confirmed that it will have a campaign that can be played with other people, as well as 3 vs. 3 competitive multiplayer.
In the reveal trailer, 2 factions of the many that Stormgate will have were presented, the explorer (human resistance) and a demonic faction from another world, which will be part of the game, which will take place in future Earth. If you are interested in this title, there are good news, you can already register for the Beta that will appear at some point in 2023 at playstormgate.com
