We are just starting Geeked Week, and Netflix is excellently blowing our minds. Yesterday’s showcase threw us a lot of content coming in the series department, and today we are receiving lots of movie trailers and sneak peeks you can’t miss. I’m sure you'll be excited about more than one of these announcements.
Without further ado, here’s every title mentioned in today’s event:
THE SEA BEAST
Coming to the streaming platform on July 8, The Sea Beast is an animated adventure with cute and not-so-cute creatures with a very epic story. The movie tells the story of a young girl who jumps on a ship of a legendary sea monster hunter, and both embark on an enjoyable and dangerous journey together. Karl Urban, Zaris-Angel Hator, Jared Harris, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, and Dan Stevens lead the film's cast.
TROLL
I’ve always said that trolls are scary creatures. People love and praise them all around the globe. But Norway knows stuff. This is what Troll is about; a gigantic horrifying monster that turns out to be a troll. Monsters emerging from the ground in this international feature is, in my opinion, a good thing for the horror fans.
DAY SHIFT
An epic sneak peek revealed the fantastic stunt work that has been done for this film. The gunfight and car chases are the moods of Day Shift. From the director of John Wick, this vampire-hunting story takes the myth to another level. Jamie Fox, Dave Franco, and Snoop Dogg will be starring in this new action feature.
KILLER BOOK UNIT
Coming from Spain, this slasher brings all the literary chills (lol) to a very eerie teen book club. Oh, did I mention a clown killer? This shape ups to be a creepy but intriguing film. Unfortunately, there is not much revealed for now, but hopefully, we will get the chance to relish this dark delight very soon.

BLASTED
This year we’re not getting one but TWO Norwegian films. This one is still sci-fi, but with a space-related villain. Based on an actual UFO sighting and a bachelor party going sideways, Blasted will give you all the chills and laughs simultaneously.
INTERCEPTOR
A very cool sneak peek with epic stunts and women's power, Interceptor turns Elsa Pataki into a real menace. Now streaming, the film displays significant fighting encounters and intense action scenes. For sure, this was a big deal in the training department for Elsa. This is a must if you’re an action lover (movie-wise). So go to your Netflix account and start streaming Interceptor.
ZOMBIE 100 BUCKET LIST OF THE DEAD
If you enjoyed All of Us Are Dead and love zombie movies more than anything in the world, this movie is a perfect fit. A zombie apocalypse set in Japan starring Akira, a young man who will try his best to survive in this new world. How far would you go to survive a zombie attack?
WENDELL & WILD
A new spooky spot motion feature with a little girl and two demon brothers comes from the mastermind that brought you The Nightmare Before Christmas and Coraline. Names like Angela Bassett and Jordan Peele are among the leading cast, and for the looks, this movie will claim its place as the ultimate eerie stop motion picture. Wendell & Wild comes out sometime in October.

SPIDERHEAD
What if I told you that you’d be able to see Chris Hemsworth as the bad guy for the first time? In Spiderhead, Hemsworth gives life to a twisted scientist who tries to help humanity in unorthodox ways. The film portrays a dystopian sci-fi in which technology allows the boss Hemsworth to be in control of people’s minds. How they think, what they feel, and their perspective on what’s in front of them. Coming out on June 17; this movie will flip your mind.
REBEL MOON
Zack Snyder and Sofia Boutella proudly present the next installment in the Snyder archive. Rebel Moon is a space opera where the misfits will take the spotlight. Science fantasy and many more surprises are now in production. We can’t wait to find out how this will turn out!

THE GREY MEN
The Russo Brothers are at it again! The next challenge on their action movie archive comes with a story about a CIA agent who leaves his life behind to turn into an undercover assassin. And guess what, Chris Evans and Ryan Goslin will be a part of it! Out-of-this-world fighting scenes and all of the actions that we love from the Russo Brothers, The Grey Man sure has it all.
SCHOOL FOR GOOD & EVIL
This is not your classic magic school; here is where all the fairytales begin. A lot is going on here, and there’s only one way to find out. Join Sophie and Agatha in the battle to understand and survive the balance between good and evil. Starring Charlize Theron, Kerry Washington, Sophia Anne Caruso, and Sofia Wylie, The School for Good & Evil comes to Netflix this September.
