Fans weigh in on Chun-Li's mature look in Street Fighter 6

Could it be that it lost all its essence?

One of the most relevant announcements in the last PlayStation State of Play event was the upcoming arrival of the title Street Fighter 6. Fans were amazed by the beautiful visual art, special effects, and character designs.

One of the most iconic characters in this franchise is Chun-Li, and the fans had a lot to say about this new design for her.

WHAT DO FANS THINK OF CHUN-LI'S DESIGN?

Street Fighter is a franchise that has accompanied thousands of players for decades. Therefore, we have seen the evolution of character designs. Something that drew attention to the new look of Chun-Li was showing a more mature character, leaving aside the more youthful aspect, in addition to offering traits more ad-hoc to her origin.

In the game story, she was born in 1968; we are talking about a 54-year-old woman. The team took this into account, and we can see Chun-Li with a more adult appearance without neglecting her unique beauty.

Fortunately, the community response, for the most part, was positive; they consider that Chun-Li reflects her age and excellent physical condition.

NOT EVERYONE IS HAPPY

Not everything was positive; some fans did not agree with making the appearance of the characters more realistic and mature.

Even fans took the liberty of making an edit to the current look of the character by combining it with how he used to look.

But it wasn't to the liking of some either, comparing the look of the Chun-Li edition to the famous Kim Kardashian.

CHUN-LI COMPARISON BEFORE AND NOW

Unfortunately, in no aspect of life can you please everyone; in this case, both fans loved his look and others who simply did not like it.

What did you think of Chun-Li's change? Tell us in the comments.
