It's been a long time since we've heard from Rockstar Games. There has been no news or leaks about what might be in the works since the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 in 2018, and that was the first new game the developer released in five years, being the previous Grand Theft Auto V game.
Fans are desperate; they are eager to get updates or some news about what Rockstar Games could be working on and thus be able to raise their hype with what could come.
Fortunately, they heard the collective prayers of the fans since Chris Klippel, a well-known member of Rockstar Games, has announced on his official Twitter account that "an announcement is being prepared" he does not know when but that it will be "a new project."

Immediately with Klippel's tweet, all fans began to speculate that it could be the next Grand Theft Auto. However, at the moment, there has been no announcement about it or leaks, perhaps it could be possible, or it could also be a Red Dead Redemption remake. Nothing has been confirmed so far, but the reactions from fans are incredible.

That big announcement is possibly revealed at the PlayStation State of Play event, though Sony confirmed that the show would focus on third-party games and VR titles. We will have to wait for what is announced at the event.
