One of the titles that have been talked about the most in recent weeks was Multiversus. If you didn't know, it would be a free-to-play fighting game in the style of Super Smash Bros., but with Warner Bros. characters.
The Closed Alpha recently allowed selected users to have their first impressions and feedback on the game.
There have been a lot of rumors and leaks lately about possible characters coming to the game, and fans are very excited to think about the opportunity for their favorite characters to join the title.
Although the title will be focused on the characters of Warner Bros, a member of the developer studio opened the possibility of seeing collaborations with other sagas of the genre.
CHARACTERS FROM OTHER FIGHTING FRANCHISES IN MULTIVERSUS?
In a recent interview on the NME portal, Chris White, co-founder of Player First Games and technical director of the project, revealed that the study "is open to many things." He assured there is always the possibility of seeing a crossover with other fighting games but stressed that it is not currently a priority.
“From our perspective, the door is open to many things. Of course, to do something, you would have to have a partner willing to collaborate in a certain way. We are currently focused on our product, so we are not in any kind of conversations or planning anything in that area, but we are not opposed to the idea either, “said the creative.
It will surely be fascinating for many fans to know that the studio is open to possible collaborations in the future; this opens up a world of possibilities by seeing many different characters in the title.
