Sometimes games get flooded with hackers and bots but Team Fortress 2 have been drowned in them. According to the community, in the last couple of years, the use of aimbots has ruined the game. The number of hackers and an overwhelming quantity of bots, made the TF2 community stand together and start asking for a solution.
It started on Reddit… as always!
The TF2 community started the #SaveTF2 movement on Reddit but it quickly expanded to other social media platforms, mainly on Twitter where the demands to Valve multiplied by thousands.
And finally after long radio silence, yesterday, the TeamFortress 2 official Twitter account said something:
TF2 community, we hear you! We love this game and know you do, too. We see how large this issue has become and are working to improve things.
— Team Fortress 2 (@TeamFortress) May 26, 2022
They didn’t specify how they plan to solve these issues, moreover, the comments following this tweet suggest that the community is not convinced as the problem has been reported for years and nothing has been done.
Hopefully, this time Valve will help the community. Are you part of the #SaveFT2 movement? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
